New week, clean slate and a fresh start - I always like to start Mondays fresh, with lots of plans and ideas for the week ahead. They don’t always go to plan, but each week I write out my list and anything I can achieve on top of orders is a bonus. It finally feels like the studio is done - like properly done! I have a few little bits to go up on the walls, but I’ve been working in here for just over a week now and I couldn’t be happier. I feel so much more productive in here, so much happier and so proud of what I have achieved. It’s also a huggggeee bonus that my beautiful golden girls love it in here and the gorge new decking outside. Summer is quite an independent sole, but she pops down regularly to visit. Folie on the other hand is the biggest cuddly bear and she is obsessed with the new decking. It’s like she thinks it was built just for her 😍 It all looks so professional and I can’t quite believe it’s mine. If you asked me a couple of years ago or even a year ago if I thought I’d have my own studio in the garden, I’d of said no way! But I’ve done it! Today is really my first proper day in the studio and I’m just loving it. First proper day in the studio today and it’s been lush! Few technical issues with WiFi, but nothing ever runs smoothly does it. It’s amazing how much more productive I can be in here - I don’t know if it’s because I’m loving the new space and it’s a place that’s completely mine, or if it’s because of the designated areas for each process. Most probably a mixture of the two! Packing was definitely a dream today and my back was loving not having to bend over. I’ve been a bit rubbish at posting this week, but the studio had lots of work done and is now completely ready for me to move in - it honestly feels like a dream come true! So this weekend I’m moving everything over, which is a mammoth job! But I’m getting there. It’s also been great to see what other bits I might need now everything is in there. I did a bit of a plan beforehand and all the furniture fits exactly as I wanted, but it’s things like the shelves and storage and hiding ugly wiring - you don’t always know how these bits will pan out until you’re in. So I think there will be a few small extra bits to buy! Also in the midst of all the studio chaos I hit 2000 sales on Etsy 🥂 I hit 1000 sales earlier this year and it took me a long time to get there.
